Oyster Heaven restores marine ecosystems by reintroducing oyster reefs on a large scale. Our patented Mother Reef makes ecological restoration affordable, effective, and globally scalable. We collaborate with scientists, local fishing communities, and companies in construction and food production to restore biodiversity and clean our seas.

About the role
In this role, you will work closely with our founder, George. Together, you will explore leads for new projects. As CCO at Oyster Heaven, you will play a crucial role in executing our commercial strategy. You are a true orchestrator and dealmaker: you close deals and ensure a smooth handover to our project teams. We dare to do things differently and create an alternative to philanthropy. Our approach and tools ensure that all stakeholders can walk away financially better off. Society, industries, and the environment, we don’t leave anyone behind. We all win.
In recent years, we have made an impressive start with exciting projects in several countries. That is only the beginning. As CCO, you will be the driving force behind our further growth.
There are many global water-related challenges we can address, but we only start a project when we are confident it will succeed. Each new project requires extensive international stakeholder management and process coordination. With all interests and insights in mind, you know exactly what structure is needed per project. For both the client and for us. The ultimate goal: a location where the conditions result in a healthy oyster reef with guaranteed regeneration and scalability.
This is the playing field where you take the lead: from defining the challenge to designing the solution and calculating the (cost) price.
This role involves significant travel, mainly within Europe (for now). You will be our first colleague fully dedicated to commercial activities. As we grow, your team may also expand.

About you
We expect you to bring 15+ years of experience as a commercial professional, much of it in an international environment. You have excellent negotiation skills, which you have frequently applied in closing international deals. You combine strong analytical and business acumen with outstanding communication skills in speech, writing, and presentation. Further expectations include:
Master’s degree (or equivalent level of thinking and working)
Strong relationship-builder in an international, multidisciplinary setting
Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken)
Creative, solution-oriented mindset: you make it work
